Available Roles
1. The Siren (Narrator/Extra): Late 20s, early to mid 30s. Experienced enough to deliver monologues in a captivating fashion and hold the audience's attention. Great for female Spoken Word artist.
2. Vivian Grandberry (Proprietor of Honey's Kitchen): Mid 40s, early 50s. Dynamic personality with a sincere desire to help the community and passionate about the Black cause but she is not militant. Refined. Cultured. Well-traveled. Straight-forward and have a sense of conviction.
3. Josephine Wade-Nichols (Friend of Vivian/Patron of Honey's Kitchen): Early to mid 40s. Pretentious. Somewhat shallow. Afraid of getting older so she tries to appear younger. A bit insecure but she manages to hide it with false confidence.
4. Patrice Neely aka CoCo (Vivian's Niece): Late teens (18-20). Pretty. Slightly naive or gullible. Fashion conscious. Dreamy. Boy-crazy.
5. Divine Worthy (Waitress/Osirius' love interest): Divine is Beautiful's sister (FOUR WOMEN). Late 20s. Attractive but downplays it. Reserved. Love struck. Insecure. Seems to be clueless about her direction in life.
6. Osirius Jones (Divine's love interest/New Africa Organizer/Community Activist): Late 20s. Strong. Handsome. Secure. Hot-tempered. Passionate. Charismatic. Intelligent. Noble.
7. Andrew James Lawrence Jr. ( aka A.J.) (Patrice's Love Interest): Early 20s (21-24). Well-groomed. Well-spoken. Slightly Bourgie. Sly. Slightly manipulative. Persuasive.
8. David Williams aka Ajani (Osirius' friend & New Africa Co-Organizer/Community Activist): Late 20s, early 30s. Quick witted. Slightly abrasive. Rough around the edges. Street smart.
9. Cato Greenlee (Vivian's Love Interest): Early 50s. Humorous (NOT clownish or buffonish). Genuine. Sweet. Looks well for his age. Still very handsome. Active build. Friendly. War veteran.
